Government organizations and knowledge institutions invest heavily in research, but the knowledge often does not effectively reach citizens, policymakers, and other target groups. In this case, Smartshore & Ability, together with Leiden University and the Province of South Holland, developed an AI knowledge service that translates scientific publications into understandable, target group-oriented answers. By combining Strapi as a single source of truth with a controlled multi-agent RAG architecture, the knowledge is current, transparent, WCAG 2.1 AA accessible, and directly applicable in practice.
